Breaking The Magician's Code

“Never Reveal Your Secrets” this is the magician’s code. I myself am a street magician I have a lot of tricks and I even know some of the tricks of Chris Angel and David Blaine. I can make your card disappear and appear just with a snap.

There are many kinds of magic. Card Magic, Street Magic, Table Magic, Stage Magic, Coin Magic and all of the magic. Magic is not a joke. We magicians take countless hours of practice to master and perform a single magic effect. Street Magic is one of the best fields of magic, street magicians go to streets instead of stage to perform on a group of people. In street magic there are lots of secrets, the only recipe of a street magic effect is not the majestic or magical deck of cards, all we need is our magic hands and a lot of misdirection to our spectator. There are also several techniques that magicians like me do. Like the “Double Lift “which we lift two cards instead of one and showing our spectator that we only lifts one card and it really looks one. And the “False Cut”, which we cut the arranged deck of cards to many piles and ending up on the same arrangement at the end. We also use “Card Switches” and “Card Sandwich” which we switch and hide cards as fast as possible. We also do “Mathematical Tricks” as long as we follow the right steps we will surely nail the trick. There are many secrets behind our magic.

We Street Magicians don’t do magic to fool people, we do magic to entertain people. I love when I entertain people and I love when I got wow to my spectators. I love there reactions. Magic is my life, and Cards are my best friends.

DAvid "The Magic Man" BLaine

Have you ever heard about a disappearing card, or a red card turning into blue card, how about a signed card lost in the middle of the deck and with just a snap the signed card jumps in to your pocket? That’s called Street Magic. And if we talk about Street Magic one name will surely poops “David Blaine”.

David Blaine was born April 4, 1973 in Brooklyn New York. David never saw his father since birth and his mother is the only family he had. His mother raised him while taking three different jobs at a time. At the age of four while David was walking on a subway he saw a magician performing on a crowd of people at that instant David wanted to become a Magician so he purchased his first card effect “The pencil through card effect”. Magic also struck him because of its relationship with mathematics and science. Since the young boy has no money to go magic shops, he spends many and countless hours in libraries researching for some secrets about street magic. At the age of five he already mastered some card effects and learned what his dream was; after showing a card effect to a neighbor, he saw for the first time what impact magic can have emotionally on people. Then he told to him self “I want to be a showman”

At the age of ten David’s mother got married to a banker and they moved to Jerseyville, while in Jerseyville David developed a talent in acting. He travels everyday for miles to attend a acting workshop. David did some commercials and appeared n some soup operas. When David was 21 his mother died due to a ovarian cancer. It was then that he devoted his life on magic. So it started a legend with his unique talent and style he was discovered and have some connection to ABC and he started a show David Blaine; Street Magic. The ultimate magician was born.

"My ProMise LanD"

Last night while I’m watching “Bandila” I have watched one of the portions of their news program. They are featuring the best place to spend our weekend with, their featured place is Tagaytay one of the best tourist spot in Southern Luzon. Tagaytay is very famous because of the eye-popping view of the world smallest volcano “The Taal Volcano” and the “Taal Lake”. Tagaytay is also called the “Vatican of The Philippines” because of the many religious groups settled in the province. It is also famous because of the People’s Park, Picnic Grove, Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, and a lot of tourist destination. Tagaytay is also known for its Cold Breeze.

For me Tagaytay is “The Promise Land” and the place to be. I’m also 100% sure that Tagaytay is one of the best places in the country. I’m sure because after me and my family returned home here in Iligan. We resided in Tagaytay for Four years and those Four years of my 18 years of my life I think is the best years of my life. I’ve meet great people and good friends. I also discovered and explored great things in Tagaytay. I also become a “Knight of The Altar” or an altar server. I have reached remote areas and helped people with the company of the Fathers, Brothers, and Nuns. I also matured and grown in Tagaytay as who I am now with the help of my family, friends, the people around me, and specially God. And Tagaytay is also famous because of the cheap price of beef and for their “Bulalo”.

I really miss Tagaytay if I have time and enough money I will immediately take a flight to Manila and ride a bus going to Tagaytay. Tagaytay is really the place to be. I left my heart in Tagaytay but life must go on I must face the truth that I’m here now in Iligan. I must admit that Iligan is also a great place. I’m glad that I have adjusted and I already appreciated the beauty of Iligan City. Sometimes I picture my self in Tagaytay but I just smile with a phrase “Tagaytay just be ready for my return because I will return with a BANG!!!”

Conflict

Conflict is very common in our society now a day. Conflict is the act of fighting, contest, and strife, and quarrel, emotional disturbance, to clash or to struggle. Conflict can arise anytime between two people, conflict can start with just a little misunderstanding. A simple conflict can start a war between two nations; it can also destroy relationships like in the story “The Carpenter’s Gift”

“The Carpenter’s Gift” is a great story to reflect with. This story has a great twist at the end. “Peace” or to be a “Peacemaker” for me is the lesson of this story. Peace is very important element or ingredient in every human life. If there is no peace there is no life. And to be a peacemaker is a very difficult task. I must admit that sometimes I’m a peacemaker but sometimes I’m a troublemaker. I remember when I was in high school when two of my best friends had a quarrel because of a girl for 2 weeks they didn’t talk to each other and many rumors are going around the school. So as a friend I organized an open forum to clear things out, luckily things run smooth and at the end of the day they are friends again. And as I mentioned earlier sometimes I’m the troublemaker I remember when me and my friends are playing basketball I started the trash talking against our opponent and my friends joined me. I remember that game was so intense and we also involve money to make the game more intense. Luckily we won so my trash talk continues. I did not notice that one of my opponents got irritated because of that the basketball match was turned to a boxing match but with my big body I won the match with my opponent lying down in the floor.

It is very hard when you have an enemy. Conflict is a very simple thing to deal with. We can resolve any conflict by communication. One must clear things out and discuss the resolve the misunderstanding. I always resolve any conflict trough communication. We cannot avoid conflict but the thing is how we deal with conflict.

The Great Mt.Apo

This article is all about the mysterious Mt.Apo. Mt.Apo is one of the most beautiful landform in the Philippines it is also the highest mountain in the country with almost ten thousand feet high. This article talks about the history of Mt.Apo like the origin of its name “Sandaya” meaning “solfatar” and “apo” means “lord”. This also talks about the snow formation on the summit of the mountain but study show that it is not snow it is just Sulfur. This is also about the different kinds of tribes who live in Mt.Apo like the Ata, the Bagobo, the Guianga, the Calanga, the Culaman, the Tagacaolo, and the Bilaan. And according to Geologists Apo is a volcano sitting on mountain ranges so that why it is very high.

This article is very easy to understand it’s all about Mt.Apo. Ai first it take me some of my time to read and understand this article. But as I go trough the lines carefully and by skimming it I understand it just the author wants to tell us. This article is so informational and it describes Mt.Apo a lot.

THANK YOU.,,.

“Thank you” is just a simple word but it can mean a lot. Yes it is true that some of us uses “Thank you” in our daily life like while we are in a jeep when we reach our fair to the person next to us, we say “Thank you” for thanking the person who helped us or when we enter a mall or restaurant when the guard or the staff opens the door for us we say “Thank you” for appreciating them on a simple but great action they have done.

But for me “Thank You God” is the most important thing to say. We must face the truth that many of us don’t say these words often. Some only mention these words on occasional basis which is wrong. We must thank God for many things many great things, like our breakfast earlier, for keeping us safe all the time, by giving us good health, by giving us air to breath, by us life, by giving us our parents and friends, by giving us His only begotten Son only to save us from our sins. We must thank God for everything we must thank God everyday and we must not stop thanking Him until the last second of our life. “Thank you” is a very light word to hear when I hear this word my heart jumps out with joy. Honestly I always say “Thank you” a lot, I say it when someone help me even when someone opens the door for me I sat thank you not only saying it I say it with a smile on my face.

“Thank you” is a very special word it will not take your life when you say thank you to a person. So don’t be afraid to say Thank you it will help you and it will also help the person you are Thanking.
